He’s baaack …
The man who laid out the welcome mat for the wokeification of the world’s leading STEM university has returned to share his wisdom.
Undeterred by the ostensible dismantling of the bloated DEI edifice he erected (none of whose apparatchiks have actually been fired), MIT past president L. Rafael Reif rests secure in the knowledge that personnel is policy.
So, the message to his minions is: Hunker down. Wait out the Bad Orange Man. And keep the flame of intersectional social justice alive until the day when MIT’s embedded culture warrior cabal can come up out of the bunkers and return to business as usual.
Come hear him speak to learn why supporting MIT with your tax dollars is a matter of national security.
- Imagine how vulnerable our nation would be without studies suggesting that global warming will make people 2.3% more pissed off.
- Think about the cancer cures we might miss if we cease supporting the development of feminist, queer, and indigenous methodologies.
- America would be shunned by world leaders if scientists from MIT’s Global Diversity Lab can’t fly around the planet compiling “dignity measurements.”
- And what would we do without the myriad projects that the female-led SOLVE program unleashed to save the world?
All of these initiatives, and more, thrived under the leadership of Dr. Reif. Don’t be fooled by MIT’s current prophylactic PR pivot. These are just temporary obfuscation measures put in place by Reif’s successor to distract critics until the coast is clear.
Welcome back, Dr. Reif. Your fans await.
