Guess who’s back in the news? Far-left radical MIT Professors Michel DeGraff and Sally Haslanger, up to their old tricks trying to foment a cancel-culture mob.

Their issue this time? No, not free speech suppression. Not Hamas cheerleading.

What got their dander up is a fellow professor who dared contribute to a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services comprehensive review that was critical of so-called gender affirming care.

“Our duty is to protect our nation’s children—not expose them to unproven and irreversible medical interventions,” said NIH Director and Babbling Beaver advisory board member Dr. Jay Bhattacharya. “We must follow the gold standard of science, not activist agendas.”

As a result, the report recommends that doctors cease chopping body parts off of mentally disturbed children or chemically sterilizing them with puberty blocking drugs. How dare they be allowed to either grow out of their “gender dysphoria,” as most do, or just grow up to become become normal gay people.

How did our dynamic duo respond? By rounding up a posse of true believers, fellow travelers, and useful idiots, getting them to sign a manifesto and petition. In it they not only denounce, defame, and harass MIT Professor of Philosophy Alex Byrne, author of the Trouble with Gender, but they pronounce a fatwa on any academic who dares “collude” with the duly elected president and his administration.

Alas, no one cares. Although the green eyeshade budget masters at MIT should as they seek programs to cut thanks to woke screwballs like this bringing down the wrath of the federal government on the world’s leading STEM university.

So sleep easy, Dr. Byrne. With woke-hand-puppet former MIT President Rafael Reif and non compos mentis former U.S. President Joe Biden both out to pasture, you don’t have to worry about being run out of town as you might have been a few short years ago.
