Lowering standards, sacrificing merit on the altar of diversity, discriminating against excellence if it’s wrapped in the wrong color skin, proliferating junk “studies” majors to absorb the unqualified, hiring third-rate faculty on the basis of DEI loyalty oaths, tolerating phonies, and promoting race grifters into senior leadership positions were painful but necessary steps to defeat Systemic Racism. Harvard may be the poster child for this noble endeavor, but even MIT has suffered the consequences.
It looks like the jig may be up, making it time to deal with the aftermath.
How will our elite universities cope with the Systemic Stupidity challenge?
“Systemic Stupidity is extremely difficult to eliminate once entrenched,” explained Professor Emeritus <name withheld upon request>. Cancelled by powerful feminists for daring to prioritize reason and objectivity over lived experience and indigenous knowledge, the good professor continued. “Once Systemic Stupidity establishes itself at the dean and department head level where hiring and curriculum decisions are made, eradication becomes nearly impossible. The best you can hope for is palliation.”
Metastasizing into society through a university’s graduates, Systemic Stupidity can only be reversed if employers stop hiring from elite schools. While this process has begun, with some firms dropping the requirement that job applicants have a college diploma, the lion’s share of the Systemically Stupid end up in government, media, and the arts where they work overtime to normalize imbecility.
