When MIT’s Assistant Dean of LGBTQ+ Lauryn McNair (She/They) learned that an apostate was scheduled to deliver a Desister & Detransitioner Awareness Presentation at MIT to share his lived experience of being lured into, and then desisting, from transgender madness, she swung into action.
“LBGTQ+ Services is aware that the Open Discourse Society is sponsoring an event this Sunday that may be difficult and painful for you, particularly so soon after Trans Week of Awareness and Trans Day of Remembrance,” she wrote.
“On Sunday, there will be event response ambassadors on site from 2-4pm who will be there to support you and talk with folks. They will be wearing MIT name tags. LBGTQ+ Services will have a debrief, discussion, and community event on Monday.”
Event Response Ambassadors? How many of these were provided at MIT’s expense to calm Jewish students traumatized by a year of having Hamas-supporting classmates and professors call for their deaths? But when a trans student learns that an apostate is being allowed to speak on campus, roll out the fainting couches!
LGBTQ@MIT offers You are Welcome Here (YAWH) training that embraces and empowers people of all gender identities and sexual predilections. Unless, of course, you are a blasphemous Desistor or Detransitioner.
Like in any cult, apostates trigger the strongest immune response. Imagine the tragedies that would ensue if gender confused MIT students were encouraged to discover that they were just normal, healthy gay people and not freaks “born in the wrong bodies” who had to take hormones and chop off body parts to become their true selves.
