America’s fascist dictators are determined to destroy American R1 research universities so Chinese scientists can take over the world. That’s why they have unilaterally decided that billions in taxpayer dollars intended to advance science can no longer be used to fund bloated college administrations and illegal DEI programs.
This cannot stand!
By capping ‘overhead’ payments on government grants at 15% rather than the 60% the likes of Harvard, Stanford, and MIT have come to depend on, thousands of deans, assistant deans, associate deans, and deputy deans will go hungry.
“Make it up out your untaxed bloated endowments,” they say? Bah! We didn’t bamboozle billions out of alumni we’ve laboriously kept in the dark for years just to have it squeezed out of us by some punk named Big Balls.
We exalted scientists on the dole have a right to help ourselves to as much taxpayer money as we want. How else can we continue to publish irreproducible research in corrupt and politicized science journals that help advance our careers? And we will defend the right of the universities that provide us comfy tenured sinecures to hoover down as much of that money as they want, to do with as they please, with no oversight or accountability.
That is the legacy of the Uniparty that ran this country until about three weeks ago, and we will not give up our pedant privilege without a fight!
