Radical feminist coven at MIT challenges normative conceptions of space & time

Step aside, Albert, MIT’s Consortium for Graduate Studies in Gender, Culture, Women & Sexuality seeks to forge new “liberatory conceptions of space and time in the contexts of racial justice, abolition, disability rights, queer/trans ecologies, human development, death studies and practices, embodiment, community building, and more.”

Only the bard could have said it better: “Eye of newt, and toe of frog. Wool of bat and tongue of dog … Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble.”

If the description of this actual conference call for papers strikes you as a string of non sequiturs generated by an AI designed to spit out Sokal hoaxes then you don’t understand the transformation that has taken place at the world’s leading STEM institution. Embracing scholarship that destroys all semblance of reason, tolerating the abuse of language until the flow of words lose all meaning, and most of all refusing to laugh in the face of patent absurdity signals a culture that has slid into the twilight zone.
